Wedding Bells A Ringing...
Suddenly I am besieged with news of friends getting married...First, an old school mate tied the knot last month.
Then, heard that a Uni friend is getting married this coming September..
Just yesterday I received news that my good friend at Uni had popped the Question, and is planning to hold his wedding next October..
What the..?!!?
It seems like my peers are all jumping into the marriage bandwagon..
While I am outwardly happy that they have all found their happiness and their lifelong partners, yet somehow in my heart of hearts, I feel like I am losing yet another friend to this monster called Marriage.
Of course, I still have plenty of single friends around, whom like me, have not even contemplated the idea of settling down.. not yet anyway..
But judging from the trend.. the wheels are set in motion already.. The M-monster is devouring my friends one by one.. Slowly but surely...
Seems like this is happening earlier than I expected...
